a series of events

Processed with VSCOcam with f1 presetSo many awesome things have happened in the midst of these past two months, and I feel a little ashamed that I always forget my camera (my big camera). Usually at the end of every year I gather up my photos to print and I don’t have much to print this year, it makes me a little sad. I understand things are changing and it’s all about convenience, but there’s something special about lugging around my Nikon to take great quality photos of family, places, and things. It’s gonna be my goal to bring my camera everywhere from now on! But my iPhone photos will do for meow 😉 Processed with VSCOcam with f2 presetA couple weeks back there was a day called CicloSDias. It’s a day where a good portion of the streets are closed to encourage bicyclist. Manny and I thought it’d be super fun to go to, and IT TOTALLY WAS! Back in Florida riding your bike is a lot less difficult than it is here lol, so it was such a great feeling riding around without double checking for cars. We took turns riding my bike 🙂Processed with VSCOcam with m5 presetProcessed with VSCOcam with s2 presetMy first meal in my own slow cooker! I’ve been wanting a slow cooker ever since I got married, but I would always convince myself it wasn’t much of a necessity. I’m so glad I waited because my mother in law gifted me the slow cooker she got for her wedding about 26 years ago! It makes it that much more special to me. My first slower cooker meal was pot roast, of course. Processed with VSCOcam with m5 presetManny helps me out in the kitchen a lot, but one thing I never seen him do is bake. So it really sweet seeing him read the box of brownies and mixing all the ingredients together, and asking me questions about it! ❤Processed with VSCOcam with f1 preset
