This trip was the best trip my husband and I had together! It was so good that we were dreading even coming back to the city. A couple weeks back Manny brought up the fact that we should go camping. I had never been camping before (I know, weird), so I was a little hesitant and I eventually warmed up to it. The weeks went by pretty fast, and after my night class we were on our way!! This was our little campsite. The comfiest of places to come back to after a long, tiring hike. For some reason making food while your camping is just so much more satisfying!! Btw, I could eat bacon cooked on cast iron all day loooooong. One of my favorite things about camping was stepping outside of our tent and just looking up at the beautiful mountains, trees, smelling wood burn, and hearing the birds chirp. My iPhone was dead most of the time and that was also nice! I didn’t realize how much I relied on my phone till I had no access to it. The first night we slept in our tent, I just turned to Manny and smiled and told him how happy I was camping with him. Throughout our whole trip we both kept saying how we cant wait to take our kids camping one day, and I couldn’t stop imagining it haha. God willing we’ll be back one day with little ones!
